This Fall season, Black Longboards and Advanced Slide Labs team rider Tom "Sr. Pushbroom" McCarthy of Cloud Ride Wheels organized a downhill-oriented clinic for kids of all ages to meet up and learn different aspects of downhill skateboarding.
Lessons were taught about the safety of the road and how you should treat an open road with the utmost respect, staying in your lane almost religiously. The skaters learned proper stopping and sliding/drifting techniques to control speed and navigate down some steep terrain in a very safe and fun manner!!
